Now available for rent from May to October is “Chicago Island”, a 2 acre private island in Lake Mohawksin, a 1,910 acre lake, in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Accessible only by boat, the newly renovated, fully insulated, one bedroom cabin is nestled among towering 60 foot pines at the south end of the island, accommodating four Non-Smoking Adults comfortably with all the amenities of home. Sorry, NO PETS & NO CHILDREN. You must be 21 years of age or older to stay on the island.

Professionally decorated in the northwoods rustic style, this cabin boasts of all modern conveniences such as air conditioning, electric heat, cable TV with hundreds of channels including HBO, built in VCR, telephone, a fully equipped kitchen with propane gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, electric can opener, pots & pans, cooking utensils, dishes & silverware, hot & cold running water and a separate shower house with a 4 ft. shower, private dressing room, large mirror, vanity sink, plenty of cabinet space and toilet.

Love the outdoors?...Then the island life is for you! Bald eagles are often sited performing their courtship flight maneuvers overhead, diving for a fresh catch or landing in one of their favorite tall pines on the island. You will easily fall deep asleep listening to the sound of gentile waves rolling into shore and don’t miss the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets right from the large wrap around deck and pier overlooking the lake.

Be sure to bring your fishing poles! The Mohawksin is home to smallmouth bass, walleyes, northern pike, crappies, blue gills and, of course, the mighty musky! Fishing is phenomenal right off the pier, deck or anywhere along the island’s vast amount of shoreline. Picnic tables, adirondack chairs, double hammock and large propane gas grill are also provided for your further enjoyment of the outdoors.

Off the island, explore all that Tomahawk Wisconsin has to offer... stores, restaurants, entertainment and bait shops... all accessible, in minutes, by boat!
